Emily Bett Rickards is a professional actress from Canada who is best known for playing Felicity Smoak on the American superhero television series Arrow. The show is based on the DC Comics character Green Arrow. She has also appeared in three Greg Berlanti spin-off shows, “Legends of Tomorrow,” “Vixen,” and “The Flash,” all of which are based on DC superheroes. Based on the DC Comics character “Supergirl,” she made an appearance in one episode of the CBS superhero action/adventure show “Supergirl.” She started her career by participating in musical theater and dance programs because she was always interested in acting. Emily Bett Rickards Career
Emily Bett Rickards began her career in theatre productions before completing the Vancouver Film School’s Acting Essentials Program. She made an appearance in Nickelback’s 2009 music video for “Never Gonna Be Alone.” In 2012, she made an appearance in the short film “Bacon and Eggs,” and later that year, she made an appearance in the direct-to-video film “Flicka: Country Pride in the role of Mary Malone. She co-starred with Laura Bertram, Robert Moloney, and Amanda Tapping in the short film “Random Acts of Romance.”
She also received a contract in 2012 to play Felicity Smoak / Overwatch in the American superhero television series Arrow. She played a computer nerd who fights alongside the show’s protagonist to save Star City. Greg Berlanti, the show’s creator, added a touch of improvisation to the character and the series, which were based on DC comics. She was initially a part of the show for just one season, but the producer and her co-star praised her in front of the Warner Brothers team before the show aired. She was eventually given a regular role, and the show’s creators increased the importance of her character.
The same role was played by Rickards again in the spinoff shows that became known as the “Arrowverse.” She first made an appearance on “The Flash” in 2014, making eight appearances since then. she played the role of Genevieve Kreme in the web series Paranormal Solutions Inc.
Rickards has appeared in a few films in supporting roles, but he has yet to land a leading role. “Cowgirls ‘n Angels,” a family drama released in 2014, stars: She appeared alongside Haley Ramm as Kristin Rose in the television series Dakota’s Summer.
