James Cameron discussed his decision to re-release Titanic in theaters and what will have changed 25 years later.

He stated at the global press conference, "You feel a greater sense of presence, and the 3D even helps with that because we've upgraded the film."

The film's director, Jon Landau, discussed the film's 15-week undisputed run at the box office and revealed that Valentine's Day brought in the most money in a single day.

James Cameron revealed in his account of the beginning of the "Titanic" journey that he only brought a book of paintings of Titanic by Ken Marschall to the office of 20th Century Fox.

Heartbreak is like nothing else, and Cameron's beautiful love story that ended tragically is what kept readers hooked.

"You can have a rom-com where they can kiss at the end and go off into the sunset," he explained.

But a love story with loss and separation in it is much more powerful, and death, of course, is the only separation that lasts forever.

Cameron and Landau claim that Kate Winslet expressed a great deal of interest and enthusiasm for the role. Cameron said, "She believed she could do it," adding, "I wasn't convinced."
